Good evening/night girls!

Sorry this is getting out so late, we had Pajama Monday and somehow we were too busy to make our way into the office today. I remembered on my run tonight that I forgot to send out our prayer. Oops- I'll be better.

Daily Prayer
Lord - Thank you for today. Thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ who exemplifies YOU in everyway. Thank you for your WORD and for your directions for us to follow. Thank you for our blessings, we treasure each gift we have. Thank you for this lifegroup, thank you for surrounding me with Christian friends- they will never know what a true gift they are. Thank you for creating eyes for us to see your Fresh Revelations and ears for us to hear your fresh revelations. We love you and praise you! AMEN

Question 5
Reread Revelation 5:1-7 and glance back at your notes from Session 4. Review what the scroll probably predicts: destiny, what is to take place. Give one reason why it is highly significant that the Lamb appeared "as if it had been slain."

Revelation 5:1-7
The Scroll and the Lamb
1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2 And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3 But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5 Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6 Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. 7 He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

My thoughts- He appeared as slain to signify his death on the cross and then his ressurection into heaven. What do you think?

Love to all!
M
