What did the voice from heaven tell John to do in Revelation 10:8?

8 Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: “Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
My Thoughts:The angel told John to go and take the scroll that lays in the open hand of the angel. Read in Ezekiel 3:1-3 and Jer 15:16 for references. This is signifying the experiances yet to come for God's people, including the victory of God's plan and the vindication of his people. (NLT Study Bible - adapted notes)
